THANK YOU!     THANK YOU!     THANK YOU!

Mother Teresa said, “In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.”

Wednesday night over 1100 people packaged small bags that will be physical examples of great love. A love that stems from the ultimate great love. Thank you soooooo much for your support of the Mooresville For Haiti effort Wednesday night!!!! It is through your time and monetary offerings that a difference in over a hundred thousand people’s lives will be made in Haiti.

Over 1100 people joined together in a rather chilly warehouse Wednesday, Feb. 24. However, the chill in the air was quickly forgotten as the energy flowed while tons of children and adults joined together in pouring rice, soy, and vitamins in a plastic bag! Children were running with bags in their hands in order for the “gong” to be rung signaling another 5,000 meals being packaged.

We want to thank all that took part in this effort both financially and physically. It took a community effort to pull this off in such a short amount of time. Most organizations that do a meal packaging of this manner do so after 8 months of planning, we pulled it off in five weeks! WOW!!!!!!!

Thanks for being the hands and feet of Christ in our world.
